ATA PD Webinars 2020-21

Building off the "How did we get here?" session that Dr. Shariff presented at this year's teachers conventions, this webinar will introduce some of the more challenging concepts and misconceptions that teachers and school leaders need to grapple with if they want to be effective antiracist educators.

This session is a follow-up to the sessions Dr. Shariff presented at this year's teachers' conventions. It is highly recommended that you watch the recording of her first presentation before participating in this session.

This is the sixth in a series of webinars that will be offered during the 2020-21 school year to provide teachers with pedagogical and leadership professional development related to Antiracism and Antioppression Education. All webinars will be recorded and will be made available as video, audio, and text files for you to access at your convenience.
